Adding a Stack Hosting Email to Spark Mail on Android
Use these steps to add your Stack Hosting mailbox to Spark on Android. Spark supports IMAP only (not POP3).
1. Open Spark settings
- Open the Spark app.
- Tap the menu icon (three lines) at the top left.
- Tap Settings.
2. Add a private email account
- Tap Email Accounts.
- Tap Add Account.
- Tap Private email account (wording may be Private Email Account).
- If Stack Hosting is not in the provider list, tap Set up manually.
3. Enter your email and password
- Enter your full email address (for example jo.smith@yourdomain.com).
- Enter your mailbox password.
- Tap Additional Settings (or Advanced Settings) to enter the servers below.
4. Enter server settings
Mail server settings
Use these details when the app asks for server settings. Username is always your full email address.
Use your full email address as the username for both incoming and outgoing mail, with SSL/TLS security.
5. Finish setup
- Tap Add / Continue and wait for Spark to verify the account.
- If asked for permission, tap Allow / Agree.
Done. Your Stack Hosting email should now be available in Spark on Android.
