Move your website to Stack Hosting

If you’ve lost touch with whoever set up your website, you can give Stack Hosting permission to look after it for you. Your website may well be on the same servers as ours, but we don’t have permission or a login yet. Fill in a short form, sign, and we take it from there. Your website and email stay live.

How it works

  1. Fill in the short form with your domain name and your details.
  2. Sign to give us permission. We only act with the permission of the domain’s owner, or someone allowed to act for them.
  3. We look after your website, email and domain from then on.

Frequently asked questions

How do I move my website to Stack Hosting?

Fill in the short form with your domain name and details, then sign to give us permission. Once you’ve done that, we look after your website, email and domain for you.

Do I have to change my nameservers?

Usually not. If your domain already uses ns1 to ns4.stackdns.com, usually no DNS changes are needed, and your visitors shouldn’t notice a difference.

Who can give permission?

The domain’s owner, or someone allowed to act for them.

How much does it cost?

Hosting plans start from £249 + VAT per year. We’ll confirm what applies to your situation once you’ve signed.
